YOUTH VOCAL ENSEMBLE

Our Youth Vocal Ensemble is a group for students ages 12-18 who are passionate about classical and musical theatre singing. This ensemble fosters a welcoming, encouraging environment where we have a bunch of fun and strive to perform at a high level.
Current private lesson voice students are strongly encouraged to join!. We welcome advanced singers with a musical background.
Participants receive rigorous training, covering choral singing, vocal technique, stage presence, and sight-reading. In this course we perform a wide range of repertoire, ranging from medieval to contemporary music, spanning secular and sacred genres.
The activities we do in vocal ensemble help singers grow by building self-esteem, confidence, and creativity. Singers will explore choral music from a variety of genres, be offered leadership positions and solos, and engage with their community through performance opportunities and at events like holiday caroling, retirement home visits, and more.

To join this selective group, new singers are welcome but must audition to be accepted in this course and need to demonstrate their ability to sing in tune as well as show their basic knowledge of music theory.
